Publications

The precise formulation of the affiliation and grant numbers in publications is crucial. If in doubt, please ask the principal investigator of the relevant grant, the librarians of the institute, or the head of the department.

Acknowledging funding from the institute

In all publications with affiliation of the institute, acknowledge the funding by using the phrase supported (partly) by the long-term strategic development financing of the Institute of Computer Science (RVO: 67985807) or it's short version with institutional support RVO: 67985807.
If you are no longer affiliated with our institute, but have worked on the result during your stay at our institute, please mention that the work was (partially) done while affiliated with Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences, with institutional support RVO:67985807.

Acknowledging support from grants

If you are in the project Random discrete structures, please acknowledge the support of the Czech Science foundation as follows (usually on the front page):

If you are in the project Embedding, Packing and Limits in Graphs, please acknowledge the support of the Czech Science foundation as follows (usually on the front page):

Indicating the source of funding

Some journals ask to enter the institution that provided the funding. The funder of institutional support is the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Please let the principal investigator know whenever you have a preprint, or an accepted/published publication. Also let the librarians know, whenever you have something accepted or published.

Travel info

Before you travel and before you purchase anything for your travel (flight ticket, accommodation) you must get an approval of the principal investigator. Please submit ahead of time a travel form via system VERSO (or ask the department secretary for help)

Expenses related to attending conferences and workshops where you do not present your results nor work cannot be reimbursed from grant of the Czech Science foundation. However, ask your boss whether there are other funds to cover such a trip.

Any bill you want to get reimbursed should not contain your private address, but the address of the institute.

When travelling by plane, please keep your boarding passes.

When travelling, you will get per diem (so no need to collect receipts). However, note the meals that were provided by the receiving side (say, lunches and conference dinners included in the participant fee)
